Metsä Board Kyro reorders from Raumaster Paper

Raumaster Paper and Metsä Board Kyro have agreed on the delivery of a roll handling system to the Kyro Board Mill in autumn 2021. The deal is part of the larger modernization project covering Kyro´s whole paperboard finishing line. Raumaster Paper´s scope comprises a roll handling system between winder and wrapping line and a return line from the ground floor back to production.

The system to be delivered connects to the Raumaster Paper roll handling equipment from 1995, which is still in flawless condition. “It is always challenging to design equipment and layouts for existing mills, but we were able to come up with a spot-on solution. After all, roll handling equipment is one of our core competences” Sales Manager Kai Salo states.

Metsä Board’s Kyro mill produces high quality coated folding boxboard and the new eco-barrier paperboard.
