Raumaster Paper to deliver large roll handling system to Mondi Packaging

Raumaster Paper Oy (RMP) will supply Mondi Packaging with a complete roll handling line to their new containerboard production unit in Swiecie, Poland. The start-up of the high speed testliner and fluting machine is scheduled for 2009.

The scope of supply from RMP includes a comprehensive roll handling system needed for separating, transferring, strapping and marking the rolls from the high capacity winder to the large automated warehouse and further to the truck and railway loading bays. All functions are either electrically or pneumatically operated.

In addition to the process equipment, the supply from RMP includes complete automation featuring Roll Flow Tracking and Abnormal Situation Management, as well as a Remote Care package.

The delivery includes also erection supervision, commissioning and training services.

This delivery is continuation for the successful cooperation in many previous roll handling projects by RMP at Swiecie mill.
